Lucas Arens (Luke) is a Nashville based producer, songwriter, mixer, engineer and multi-instrumentalist originally from St. Louis, Missouri. He is published jointly by Concord Music Publishing and Tony Esterly (Pray For My Haters Music).

He works throughout numerous genres, including, but not limited to: pop, electronic, hip-hop/rap, and alternative. Raised studying trumpet, his instrumental palette ranges from completely organic to the furthest reaches of synthetic.

He has had recent cuts with Charli Adams (Ultra Records - “Emo Lullaby”), Justice Skolnik (Republic - “Wildside”), Sarah Reeves (Curb - “Anxious”), Unknown Brain ft. Trove (Trap Nation - “Like Home”), Dylan Rockoff, Ellrod, Cali Rodi, Zolita, Ray Volpe (“Without You”), Kat Saul (“Nick Miller; Unit 408; and Middle Name”], Lo (Prescription - “Mantra”), Rosi Golan (“Out of Control”), and Diamond Pistols (Firepower Records - “Gravity”) and has more on the way. Luke also produces content for the St. Louis Blues (NHL) during the regular season and playoffs.

Luke has also seen successes in sync licensing. His songs have had film, television, commercial, and promo placements with Target, Apple, Apple TV+, Maybelline, Disney, Twitter, Allstate, Whiteclaw, Tuft & Needle, Fox, Fox Sports, NBC, MLB Network, The CW, Universal Pictures, ABC, HBO, CBS, Hulu, Netflix, Freeform, Discovery Channel, National Geographic, and more. His sync project, Oshins, had his song “Darkside” feat. Hael chart on the Billboard “Synchs of Distinction” chart for 2020, as well as topping the Shazam chart around the same time. Oshins has already garnered millions of streams and sync placements.

He also has a few artist projects of his own that feature his production, songwriting, and general artistry. Lou Kerins is a diverse landscape of electronic/dance/pop while Oshins features a darker, moodier side.

Luke has engineered for artists including P. Diddy (Bad Boy), JoJo (Atlantic/Interscope), Dropkick Murphys (Born & Bred), Sebastian Bach (of Skid Row), Yo Gotti (Epic), among numerous others. His engineering work and/or instrumentation has been heard on popular TV shows like Degrassi: Next Class (Netflix), Gallivant (ABC), and Grey’s Anatomy (ABC).

While chief-engineer/producer at Shock City Studios in St. Louis, he worked with NBC’s The Voice and MTV’s Made, as well as nonprofit organizations like Kids Rock Cancer, The National Blues Museum, Stray Rescue of St. Louis, and Saint Louis University and SLU Hospital.

When not at the production desk, he can be found at local animal shelters fostering dogs...
